Charlotte Native DeVondia R. Roseborough Appears On Cable Network HLN “Breakthrough Women” Series On Morning Express with Robin Meade

PRLog (Press Release)Oct 04, 2011 – Charlotte North Carolina, DeVondia R. Roseborough will take her story to the masses on cable network’s HLN’s Morning Express with Robin Meade “Breakthrough Women”. This series feature women who break the mold and impacting the lives of others through their accomplishments. DeVondia story started way before anyone knew of this outspoken motivational speaker, author and advocate who shares her compelling story about her life before HIV and after AIDS. Founder of the Rasberrirose Foundation Inc. a local nonprofit whose mission is “To positively impact the mind, body and soul of African American women and girls who struggle with low self-esteem, with a major focus on HIV prevention”. She uses her personal story to uplift women and girls out of situations she experienced through her witty, tough love approach in how to be a better you no matter the circumstance. After her 2003 diagnoses with HIV and later told she had AIDS in 2004 DeVondia was directed by God to go, say, and do. And she does just that without shame and with boldness. She was sought out by an online article written in 2008 by journalist and author Cheris Hodges. DeVondia was the cover story for Charlotte’s Creative Loafing; Surviving AIDS: The Day and the Life in 2008. A Special reporter from CNN contacted DeVondia via email and told how her story impacted her and they initially were going to come out and film DeVondia in action but later decided to feature her as a Breakthrough Woman on the Morning Express with Robin Meade. “I was excited” said DeVondia. “I finally get the opportunity to share my story for women all over the world dealing with or without HIV/AIDS to finally say I can live.” Tune in Thursday morning, October 6, between 8:30-9am, Friday evening, October 7, 7-8pm and again Sunday morning October 9, 10:30-11am.
