E Pluribus Unum & Respect My Vote on Sept. 15th

The Democratic National Convention is over, but you have another exciting opportunity to express yourself politically, socially, and artistically in Charlotte! E Pluribus Unum, Latin for “out of many, one,” is the new exhibit at UNC Charlotte Center City, and they’ve partnered with the Hip Hop Caucus’ Respect My Vote! initiative to host an interactive Opening Reception on Saturday, September 15 at 6 p.m. at the beautiful UNC Charlotte Center City building (320 E. 9th St.), FREE and open to the public. Performances by Mike from Day 26, Bettie Grind, and Mr. 704 will ignite the evening, along with Quentin “Q” Talley delivering spoken word in front of the conceptual-art/ice sculpture “Trickle Down.” Complimentary wine and farm-to-fork cuisine provided by Harvest Moon Grille will be served.
