Shop Til You Drop! CHARLOTTE STYLE MAGAZINE HOSTS CITY-WIDE SHOPPING PARTY

Charlotte STYLE Magazine announced today plans for Charlotte’s Day of STYLE.  The all day event is a city-wide shopping party benefitting Levine Children’s Hospital.

The event, scheduled to take place November 6, is a series of in-store shopping parties, trunk shows, and fashion viewings hosted by Charlotte area boutiques and other stylish retailers.

“This is a very exciting day for us,” said Bridgette E. West, Publisher and Editorial Director of Charlotte STYLE Magazine. “The event has allowed STYLE and local stylish retailers to encourage Charlotteans to shop for a good cause.  It’s guilt free shopping at its finest.”

“Levine Children’s Hospital truly is an amazing place for healing and hope,” said Kirstin Ashford, Director of Communications, Carolinas HealthCare Foundation. “As a not-for-profit hospital, Levine Children’s Hospital relies on philanthropic support to provide new and innovative programs for children and families.”

The event will be held at various participating retailers across the city.  Shoppers will enjoy in-store entertainment, demonstrations, entertainment and exclusive shopping opportunities. Shoppers are encouraged to make a purchase at participating retailers as a portion of the purchase will be donated to Levine Children’s Hospital.  Silicone “Levine Children’s Hospital/Charlotte’s Day of STYLE” bracelets will be given out with a purchase or donation to the organization.  One-hundred percent of the proceeds from bracelet donations will be given to Levine Children’s Hospital.

Retailers participating in this event will be announced later in the month.  For more information about Charlotte’s Day of STYLE, visit www.CharlotteSTYLEMag.com
